Thanks for the info on sandip and mary.
Your PGP signed messages made me laugh -- reminds me of the days I haunted
the linux UG's. Incidentally, recently I did create a PGP key and configure
alpine (pine) to sign and encrypt emails -- but not used it since!

I am currently going through a lot of ruby (and some python blogs). Seems
ruby is picking up a lot -- lots of activity --- I have been playing around
with Hpricot (html handling scraping library) of late.

Also looked at Shoes (again) last night (a ruby GUI toolkit) and wondered
whether i should play around with it a bit.

Good to hear from you. Hope more of us wake up.

I've only attended 1 ilugd meet in 2004, and in that too I've not met
many people. BtW, sandipb and mary are employed at Y! Bengaluru, IIRC.
