Hi all. My PC finally died. The hardware who has his shop accross the road is offering this mother board :- http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8H61M_LX3_PLUS/ More precisely, ver 3 of the board. Any feedback on that board? I run debian _experimental_ updated about 3/ 4 weeks back and have simply swapped hard disks in situations like this. (No reinstall) What has me worried is the UEFI gobbledygook in the features of the board. I have no need for other OSes, and have only one kernel installed. Since the nouveau drivers are already installed, and the initramfs image includes drivers for "most" devices, I hope that the existing Os on the disk will work straightaway. Am I correct here? What about UEFI? Anything else I need to know here? Apologies about formatting ; I am posting from the mobile. TIA, Mahesh
