Hi all,

Get to-gether? TMTDATAPIBT! ("tell me the date and time and place, I'II be there" :)

So Debu, you want to hack your proxy to get to those your 'favorite' sites! I'd suggest locking your ays-admin in the toilet and giving your machine all the powers in the world! Too bad? Ok, then get a modem and dial-up to an ISP using the company phone...forget internal network and security stuff!

Or else use a free unix/linux shell, like http://sdf.lonestar.org/ or try http://www.ductape.net/~mitja/freeunix.shtml . Then use 'links' or 'lynx' to browse, similar to what we used to do in our college to get net access on _any_ computer we sit ;) And people thought we were doing assignments! Sorry Sir! Tough you cannot see the pictures and graphics (if you really want to), but atleast you can browse!

I don't know how many of you have gone through this article on Hacking by RMS. Its worth reading http://www.stallman.org/articles/on-hacking.html

Debu, do let us know what you did finally ;)

cheers,
AG
