Yeah, came across plenty of codes like this. Once you clear them they will look quite easy. They are nothing but recursive functions with line separators and a bunch of if-else statements put in the form a<expr>B?c:D (you alll know what it is).

putchar is the one that puts the character in place. The words are developed by converting the garbage in between in %s format.
