Hi Abhijit,
      Thanks for the help. We just discovered
something similar and its working fine. We are usnig
secure CRT
which uses ssh2 protocol, and it works fine without
any problems. Now we have enabled  port forwarding
option in Secure CRT and  now we are connecting to
secure CRT[As our tool does not support ssh2 protocol]
which in turns connects to our new server[we are able
to connect to our new servers only thru ssh2 protocol]
and it is working fine....
