A newer version of JScanner, the Java based port scanning tool, is available
for download. Version 0.2 features an extensive ports database that contains
a complete set of records for all the Well Known and the Registered ports up
till the day dated 19th of May, 2004. The database include port numbers,
service names, and service descriptions.
JScanner is intended to help network engineers in the tasks of gathering
TCP/IP network information for diagnostics and troubleshooting purposes, and
not to facilitate illegal or illegitimate activities such as gaining
unauthorized access to network resources.
The Program overview and the download link are located at
http://www.angelfire.com/nb/digitalcairo/projects.html , it needs Java
Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.3.x or higher to run properly.
