Industrial Modernisation Centre:
The IMC is a national initiative jointly funded by the 
Government of Egypt and the European Union to help develop 
international competitiveness in the private manufacturing 
sector, so that it can benefit from new opportunities arising 
from exposure to global markets, and the progressive 
introduction of free trade with the markets of the European 
Union.

Scope:
The Web Developer manages the Intranet and website of IMC. 
He/she is responsible for the continual maintenance and 
update of the IMC Intranet and website. 


Qualifications:
The following skills and experience are required to fulfil 
the specified responsibilities:
- A University degree within the IT field. 
- Have some experience in web development using Java and SQL. 
  Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE) is an asset. Knowledge 
  of Visual Basic is preferable.
- Operating as a service deliverer with high standards. 
- Oral and written fluency in English and Arabic. 
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
- Hard worker with high ability to work under stress. 
- Maintain a professional and businesslike appearance. 


Responsibilities:
The Web Developer is responsible for: 
- Designing and installing website elements, foreseen with the 
  required software applications. 
- Ensuring appropriate functioning of all website elements, 
  appropriate software applications and of the website data 
  communication system. 
- Identifying with respect to quality improvement, interesting 
  new website applications. 
- Providing instructions and training for users of website 
  applications. 
- Maintaining all website components on a regular basis. 


Work Situation:
Working hours Sunday through Thursday from 8 to 4 or 9 to 5 
at IMC Headquarters.
