1- Senior Software Engineer

 

A successful telecommunication company, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The candidate must have solid customer communication and strong software development skills

 

Technical Requirements 

-2+ years of experience in the software development

- B.Sc. of Computer and Information technology or Communication and Electronics

- Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving and networking skills. 

- Proficiency in all MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 

- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment under occasionally stressful conditions, including time pressure.

- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written). 

- Strong programming language skills using Java, C/C++, C# and VB

- Database SQL, Oracle

- Linux knowledge is a plus

- Self growing & learning new technologies.

 

Responsibilities and Scope of work

 

-Manage a workload that may include evaluating multiple projects, demonstrating good prioritization and time management skills. 

-As part of a team, exercise good business judgment on which projects to recommend forward.

-Communicate and add customer value through understanding customer business domain.

-Involved in developing Project documents (i.e. Requirements document, Design document, time estimate)

-Responsible for code development and software planning.

-Manage deliverables (documents, code) to Project leader for review.

-Update project code & Documents on SourceSafe

-Communicate with Project leader any required resources (i.e. graphic designer, technical writing, quality engineers) to complete project.

-Involved in developing time estimate.

- Work on minimizing the bugs identified.



2- Business Development Support Engineer

 

A successful telecommunication company, is looking for a Business Development Support Engineer. The candidate must have solid customer communication and strong telecommunication engineering skills

 

Technical Requirements 

-2+ years of experience in the telecommunication industry

- Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving and networking skills. 

- Proficiency in all MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 

- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment under occasionally stressful conditions, including time pressure.

- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written). 

- Willingness to travel.



 

Business Requirements and Responsibilities

Work with Marketing and Business Development in providing technical support for the various channel/business development activities to gain customers as follows: 

1) Develop product demonstrations with channel sales reps, prospects and customers 
2) Ability to gather channel requirements, and understand their current business processes 
3) Building strong relationships with channel sales organization – both sales and technical 
4) Working with business development to address technical issues that are roadblocks to moving the partnership process to the next steps and successful channel acquisition

5) Provide engineering support for analyzing and documenting detailed resource assessments

6) As part of a team, exercise good business judgment on which projects to recommend forward

7) Prepare recommendations and formal presentations to management.

8) Develop new business to achieve the sales target for the assigned region. 

9) Provide technical support by phone or in person to customers and distributors concerning all technical questions.

10) Resolve & document technical claims from customers as soon as possible. Coordinate the resolution of customer claims with Technical Services 

11) Help to study in the determination of market potential

12) Manage a workload that may include evaluating multiple market potentials, demonstrating good prioritization skills and time management skills.
