Would it be usable? Worth the effort? Thoughts? Ouch Usable? Can your systemboard deal with directly UEFI-booting a UEFI-prepared USB DASD? Worth the effort? For higher chance of success, I might consider putting a minimal Linux environment on a USB stick along with VM software and enough space on the key to simulate a SATA or SCSI DASD rather than a USB one. Might you not be better off with another poster's comment of using a VM solution?
