Hi,

I'm wondering about Windows tax incuded when buying a new PC.
Does anyone have any experience with getting a refund for Windows included
with new PC/laptop?
Are you aware of any legal challenge in IE with regards to it?
From my googling around I found that in Italy it went through their High
Court and was deemed illegal to bundle Windows with new PC based on EU
competition laws (Article 102 of EU Treaty) but didn't find anything for EU.
Some people on boards.ie reported getting money back from Dell for Vista
couple of years ago but nothing recent.

Regards,
Pawel
