It uses IBM's "POWER8" CPUs and is supposed to be
pretty fast.


On a related note, I recently heard that ARM
CPUs

    1.) need no BIOS, so they're open-er,
    
    2.) are becoming even more open by avoiding
        licensed instruction and

    3.) have more cores, so they're faster.
