While I am at it I could use this opportunity to let you know that BelFOSS
<http://belfoss.eeecs.qub.ac.uk/> 2018 will be held in QUB Computer Science
building in Belfast on Friday 16th March 2018 if anyone is interested in
making the journey.
I'm adding the agenda to the site today or tomorrow but it will include Nim
programming language, Docker, Node, Hadoop, Raspberry Pi, Open Data stuff
and speakers from companies including Microsoft (yeah you heard that
right), SpotX, Kainos, Allstate. The Lintol open data hackathon/challenge
will also launch at BelFOSS.

The evening before (15th March 6pm - 9pm) we will also have a mini GovCamp
Ireland event

Farset Labs, Belfast. Topics covered at that should include digital
government, open data, open source, smart cities and attendance is usually
more citizens than government staff so don't let the title put you off.
