Problem to subscribe without a google account

Hi,

Having seen the post entitled "How to subscribe without a Google 
account"I sent an email to the address.

The confirmation link in the email loads a page which reports a failure 
before

asking me for the email address I would like to subscribe.

Entering my email address sends me a new confirmation email with the 
same problem.


The error is: An error (#291) occurred while communicating with the server.


Can someone take a look at this?
