to get right, and all too easy to get wrong!
A useful tool, in case you haven't heard of it, is swaks ("Swiss Army=20
knife for SMTP"):
https://www.jetmore.org/john/code/swaks
I think most Linux distributions have it in their repositories. It lets=20
you see exactly what's going on in the SMTP conversation - really handy=20
for debugging.
