I thought about that and it seems so, but it is not exactly the same.  
I don't want to open a can of worms here for the discussion would go  
to tangents which would result in nothing.

I do agree with your next point here -

 From the initial response (other forums too), I do see that. Most  
people don't care and a typical response that I have got is "what can  
we do? We can do nothing".
