Recently, we have see that most of Govt.'s website force
visitors to use M$windows and/or Internet Explorer to fill
Income Tax Return/Statement or to provide feedback. It is
defeating the basic objective of unrestriced access to
information.

LUGs are supposed to promote Standard Formats, but approach
is not pro-active. I know, there are many on this list who
provide solution based on open standards. But, such
web-sites of Govt's will result in loss of confidence of
customers in such solution providers, and it will be hard
for such providers to sell solution based on Open Standards
(Linux based).

Can we do what Swami Ramdev did for Yoga. Presently Swami
Ramdev is able to promote and sell Yoga to such an extend
that he is able to convince almost all decision makers
(Chief Ministers) to implement and promote Yoga, and he
enjoy fath of huge number of followers.

IMHO, we need similar approach in Linux. Those who are stake
holders in Linux, should try to do aggressive marketing for
Linux and Linux bases solution, and convince Govt. to force
other vendors to provide solution which does not deny access
to user of other platform.
