Me too. I left Ubuntu last year around Feb and have never looked back.
I have been using Sabayon and OpenSUSE on my desktop and laptop since
then and am very happy with them.

Debian and CentOS both are very trusted for a server platform. You can
try Solaris also, Sun gives access to free security patches once you
register with them. Did I forgot good old BSDs? Very reliable....
