Time_t it is really a long int /sometimes /i think it depends on 
type of system it can bo also a floating point/


So I think it's impossible to put time_t argument into sscanf where 
char* argument should be.




But you can simple try to 


time_t time1 = atol(char *argument) //function which converts string 
to long)




And look at

this is a huge glibc manual where you can find EVERYTHING !!!
