[LIP] macros to print register variables.

Using turbo-c we can print the values that are in the registers, stack pointer, base pointer etc... using the macros _AX,_BX etc... I hope some thing similar to be available in gcc also, If ne one knows the corresponding macros for them kindly post. there is macro for __FILE__ to print the file name in which this is called. Is there ne macro to get the function name that called the current function in which this macro is used. Kindly direct me to a document if it is available. Thanx in advance.
