[LIP] PHP module identification problem

Hi there,

I was trying out the extension module example from the PHP manual. I am
using the external compilation method [calling dl()]. I got an error
saying:

Invalid module (maybe not a PHP module)

Can someone please point me to the reason to it, or these inputs are not
sufficient?
