Hi!

 I have to call a java (which accepts two parameters
from command line)utility from cgi. I am using perl to
do it using following command

system "/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.1_03/bin/java",
"portm",$arg,$arg2;

 where portm is the name of the class file which has
to be called.

 Now, if i run this script from command line it runs
flawless but when i try to run it from browser, i get
no result. Even the browser fails to call the script.
(i receive opening .... on the status bar). I had
checked all the logs and no entry is made in any log
even access_log of apache shows no "POST" entry.

 Can anyone point me what is the problem???

regards
vivek
