hi,
Actually my requirement is like this, i've got two
users on samba pdc who always want to share their
files wiht one another. i've created a seperate share
for them and implemented perrmissions like this,

user info :

[root-A+Tn9OCauRxmR6Xm/[email protected] Clients]# id hardev
uid=806(hardev) gid=964(private)
groups=964(private),541(transfer_pricing)
[root-A+Tn9OCauRxmR6Xm/[email protected] Clients]# id kishore
uid=741(kishore) gid=964(private)
groups=964(private),541(transfer_pricing)

folder info:

[root-A+Tn9OCauRxmR6Xm/[email protected] Clients]# ls -ld private
drwxrwx---    3 hardev   private      4096 Apr  5
14:38 private

smb.conf :

[private]
        comment = Private for Hardev & Kishore
        path = /home/Clients/private
        public = no
        browsable = no
        writable = yes
        create mask = 771
        force group = private
        wite list = @private

But actual problem is the permissions are applied only
for the parent directories not the sub directory. If u
can help me on this i'll be grateful.

Thanks,
Pradeep
