Hi all.
I want to display large images (1920X1200 size) at video rate (30fps). I
want to know what the best method of display would be. I am using Qt. I have
also tried raw X Window programming, but am unable to achieve this rate for
such huge size images.
Specifically, these are 2 promising options:
1. MIT's shared memory - it takes almost 150 ms for the XShmCompletionEvent
to be received, after using XShmPutImage. Is there any way to improve this?

2. Qt's pixmap display proves to be fast, but it takes a long time to
convert my image to the Qt's pixmap format.

Any suggestion?
Thanks!
Karthika
