Hi, I have to write a passwd wrapper (my googling efforts have so far returned a blank), to grab the user's password while he is changing it. I'd appreciate if someone points me to the documents which explains how the passwd command works, so that I can write a wrapper. I have no access to any UNIX related book as of now. I need to do this only for one user, `informix' as I have to fill in the JDBC URL with this password. Okay, one option is to dig into the code of the passwd utility, but I have not much time at hand to do that. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Amar -- I used to be an atheist, until I realized I was GOD. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: The Robotic Monkeys at ThinkGeek For a limited time only, get FREE Ground shipping on all orders of $35 or more.
