          Thanks for your answer.
          I am developing translator that converts proprietaryy language
to C. 
          That particular language has the feature of resident
procedure, so to implement this I am using this.

Were you looking to do this in kernel or userland? Check out mlock(2).
BTW, out of curosity, why are you looking to do this? Is your
application very time sensitive?
