  Acc. to most people wxWindows (and hence wxPython) is buggy.  Also the
api is not as good as GTK (though pythoncard looks good).  So you should
also have a look at PyGTK before taking any decition.

 For VB like stuffs, see glade (http://glade.gnome.org)
  The bridge is to use libglade (available as `glade` module in pygtk)

  Also take a look at other toolkits like PyQT, PyKDE ... oh I forget this
one .. Tk.
