I've been hitting a coredump recently, because of a segfault in my app. Now, I get to know who is generating core because of the pid stamped at the end of the core filename. Hence I built the required apps with symbols, but still I am unable to get more info out of the core. Here is what gdb bt tells me: (gdb) bt #0 0xb73aeffb in strlen () from /lib/tls/libc.so.6 #1 0xb737e1c1 in vfprintf () from /lib/tls/libc.so.6 #2 0x08116799 in CACHE_ARGS () #3 0x00000006 in ?? () (gdb) I was wondering if there is a better way out here, using gdb, to proceed further. Any pointers ? Thanks in advance.
