hi all, I am creating a command line utility.....that will accept more then 9 arguments I have created a shell script...in which i am doing shift(s) for accessing arguments.....(which are positioned at 10,11,12,........so on) I have to create a dos version also so what i have done is we have installed cygwin.....and with in a .cmd (dos batch file) we call bash and then command for example myfile.sh is my shell program and to invoke this from dos prompt i created a myfile.cmd (both .cmd and .sh present in same directory) and the contains of myfile.cmd are bash myfile.sh %1 %2 ....... (what i am doing is ultimately i am invoking the shell script) this is working fine......The problem is How can i pass more them 9 argument from my .cmd file to bash file.....because %10 is nothing in dos....? Are u guys got my problem.....? -- Manish Satwani Software Engineer Aceva Technologies | Unlock Your Working Capital A-1501, Signature Towers - I, South City, Gurgaon, Haryana – 122001 Call at: +91-124-2805091/92 Ext. 35 +91-98917-71568 Visit: www.aceva.com ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
