[LIP] Help Pearl script

Hi everybody,
I am writing a pearl script in which I have to open a file and edit it and
then use that file in pearl script.
For that I am using SYSTEM command to invoke Vi editor.
The problem is that when I quit Vi editor then my perl script also quits,
but I want control back to the pearl script.
Please help me out, its urgent.
