Hi All. I am new to UML world and facing problem while building UML kernel. Lots of unresolved errors are coming and they are as follows : vmlinux.o(.text+0x1517c4): In function `fn_hash_delete": : undefined reference to `fn_key_eq" vmlinux.o(.text+0x1519e6): In function `fn_hash_flush": : undefined reference to `fn_flush_list" vmlinux.o(.text+0x15d126): In function `tcp_exp_matches_pkt": : undefined reference to `between" vmlinux.o(.text+0x15f235): In function `sack_adjust": : undefined reference to `after" vmlinux.o(.text+0x15f2af): In function `sack_adjust": : undefined reference to `after" vmlinux.o(.text+0x15f3e7): In function `ip_nat_seq_adjust": : undefined reference to `after" vmlinux.o(.text+0x15f465): In function `ip_nat_seq_adjust": : undefined reference to `after" vmlinux.o(.text+0x15fcab): In function `ip_nat_resize_packet": : undefined reference to `before" vmlinux.o(.text+0x160eb3): In function `ip_rule_match": : undefined reference to `port_match" vmlinux.o(.text+0x160eee): In function `ip_rule_match": : undefined reference to `port_match" vmlinux.o(.text+0x163cdd): In function `unix_sock_destructor": : undefined reference to `unix_release_addr" vmlinux.o(.text+0x16472b): In function `unix_bind": : undefined reference to `unix_release_addr" I could see these symbols in vmlinux object file using nm command but donot know from where the defination will be provided for these unresolved symbols. The details are as follows: 1. Host Kernel : 2.4.20-6 [ default kernel with Red Hat 8.0]. My host kernel is not vanilla kernel and I have not applied SKAS patch to it as being novice, i wish to understand tt mode first. 2. UML Kernel : Guest kernel is 2.4.20 [vanilla kernel downloaded from kernel.org] and uml patch which I have used is uml-patch-2.4.20-4.bz2. 3. GCC version is as follows : gcc-3.2.2-5 Please guide over this. Thanks & Regards Dinesh ________________________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
