Microcenter has some decent dongles for roughly $20

that didn't work with
Either Fedora 14 (or newer) or Ubuntu 10.04 (or Newer). Bluetooth is pretty
much standardized within Linux. However, the capabilities you're speaking
of may not be present natively in all distros.
