Their tradtional workflow (especially if they have a print edition) is
tied to ancient page layout software like Pagemaker 6 (which 90% of
the time runs on Winodws 98). Unicode is out of the question for them,
unless they have some kind of converter which would transform the
ancient encoding into Unicode, and that does not work too well from
what I understand (older fonts have weird things like the hand of a
borgio-ja, tiki of a hrashwa-u, etc).
