http://www.michaeldehaan.net/?p=771 while open source development is initially about "anyone can contribute, anyone can help fix bugs", that's not really the magic of it. The magic is in setting up environments where people can collaborate however-they-wish across organizational boundaries. This requires a human element, and also a code element. Often we think a lot about the code element but we don't strategic enough about the human element. There is a symbiotic relationship between the two. -- http://www.gutenberg.net - Fine literature digitally re-published http://www.plos.org - Public Library of Science http://www.creativecommons.org - Flexible copyright for creative work _______________________________________________ Ilug-cal-discuss mailing list Ilug-cal-discuss-PMNjqutUrVNkNBGiPgg+Odi2O/[email protected] http://list.ilug-cal.org/mailman/listinfo/ilug-cal-discuss
