[smc-discuss] [x-post] Online session to learn debian packaging

Hi,

We are restarting online packaging sessions, we have taught packaging
online in the past and many of them are contributing now to debian and
other derivatives.

We will teach you how to create .deb packages and add them to debian so
it is easy for users to install new software. Even though debian already
has 50k + packages, many popular software is missing from the official
repo. You may need to use unofficial repos or manual installation. By
helping maintaining packages, you help make it is easier for users to
use Free Software.
