Target audience: the Indian Small and Medium Enterprises -- a replacement for Tally. It has all the latest tax updates as applicable by the Center and various State Governments. IIRC the development work started circa 2008. The UI is a dedicated client that needs to be installed on the desktop. In my personal conversations with Krishnakant Mane (at that time), I had suggested a Web UI given that there were already applications like WebERP, tinyERP, etc. Fast forward 2020, I am guessing GN is looking to upgrade the app with a Web browser as a client v/s the legacy desktop application. --Arun Khan -- https://mm.ilug-bom.org.in/mailman/listinfo/linuxers
