Hi, I have a usb drive that I would like to "attach" to my network for SMB but not via a server/client PC. Linksys had a slu2 (aka slug) but it had problems with the linksys firmware (can you say infirm-ware) but there was opensource firmware that was reported as better. But the hardware is now discontinued. I see dlink has a dns-120 but it does not appear to support smb and I cannot find any reported opensource firmware for it that I can track down. Does anyone have any suggestion for a usb->ethernet network device that supports smb?
