No, but I have now :-)

It took my "old, new and new passwords" and announced:

could not connect to machine 127.0.0.1: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
failed to change password for andy

retyped... I know I should copy and paste, but... well... I'm having this
sharing problem ;-)

Incidentally, I found the settings that I had originally chosen during the setup
wizard, under

System
Administration
Shared Folders
(choose folder)
Properties
General Windows Sharing Settings

And under the thing I'm suspicious about (WINS server):
1 - Do not use a WINS server
2 - This computer is a WINS server
3 - Use [___________]

I tried all three, (and backed out, but didn't re-boot the computer) without any
difference on the Windows PC end.

Oh, and under "Domain\Workgroup" I only have the workgroup... but I THINK that's
working because I see the host description, under that workgroup, from the
Windows PC.

Ummm... that's perfect... how do I do it?

Thank you very much for helping.
