"More than what you need" is a common problem, I find, with Linux stuff. It's not that the information is not out there, but rather, it's out there along with a hundred similar things, in various states of out-datedness and length. Often, all that's needed is for someone to understand the problem, and skill level of the asker, and point to the *right* how-to.
