Comparing web frameworks

Hi guys. I'm looking for your recommendations and known trade-offs between the various current web frameworks out there now (rails, django, etc). We're a (mostly) perl/mason/php shop and do a fair bit with mysql and postgresql databases. All this is running under various linux distros, but principally CentOS. If you know of good write-ups (i.e. not one-sided rants) that compare things like performance, maturity, interoperation with other tools, platform-specificity, standards and level of user control of the languages, then it would be awesome to get a link from you. But generally, if you've seen the benefits and limitations of these things then please post your experiences and advice to the list so we can all learn what the different tools are best for. Thanks!
