Hi;

At last night's meeting John Nash posed a question on behalf of a new
member or visitor. The question was "What Linux program did you use the
most when you switched from Windows to Linux?". At least that was the
question I thought I answered when the discussion came around to me.

Later it seemed that the real question was, "when someone who has
Windows experience moves to Linux for the very first time, what should
they learn first?" I think that either question is important, and wish
that I had given both more thought before answering. John did say that
while all of our answers were interesting, they didn't really answer the
needs of our guest.

J. Nash, if you reads this, could you take another 'crack' at posing the
question and let us know if the guest is following either OCLUG mailing
list so that some of us can take a second opportunity of answering the
question correctly?
