What options do you have in your kernel?  What happens when you plug it in
(what do you mean by "I can't make it work")?  What other options are there
for data transfer?

I have a umass device that doesn't work unless I have the option to probe
all LUNs on the SCSI channel (aka multi-LUN support).  The kernel recognizes
the device as ugen, but I don't actually get any umass devices presented to me.
