Re: Fedora-10 Internet Access difficulties

Thank you Howard, and to you Raj for your more detailed suggestion.

Pinging 206.190.60.37  and entering that into Firefox's destination both 
worked.

Then I hit the wall because any edit of /etc/resolv.conf seems to get 
"restored" to whatever it was before (Generated by NetworkManager), 
perhaps when I restarted the network service.

Silly question: what is a "default gw", and where does it lurk?

Still puzzled, but more optimistic;
