One thing that might be a big help for newbies would be to start up an Ottawa Ubuntu Loco team -- I know this is a linux rather than just Ubuntu group, but Ubuntu is probably the most newbie friendly distro. Currently, Canada just has a country-wide loco team, which given the size of the place is a bit broad ;) Is there any interest here in starting one up?
