I think your choice of the Speedtouch 516 will enhance the Happiness 
Function, and just in case this got under the RADAR, you might consider 
these guys as  a source -

They've discontinued the 546 (four port), perhaps because the 585 (four 
ports plus wireless) covers that turf plus some. I'm happily using a 585 
at home, with a 546 "spare".

I'm happily using a 516 here in Windsor via 
http://teksavvy.com/en/index.asp (again the 546 is carried along as my 
backup).

Printers - nothing much to offer there - I just keep whacking away until 
they work, or go to a different computer ... I happily use a Brother 
HL-5250DN on the LAN, with it playing nicely with Fedora10, RH7.2 and 
WinNT4.
