Anybody know how to get one of these working without resorting to
Windows, which I do not have on my netbook? The best instructions
include initial steps with Windows, and were developed for Ubuntu
8.10, not Jaunty. I'm also looking for drivers that are actual Linux
drivers, not Windows.

My system is an Acer Aspire One netbook running Ubuntu Netbook Remix
9.04.  The stick is a ZTE MF636.
