Hi, I must have missed the initial message because this 
thread is news to me.... I'm glad to hear about your 
project. Ubuntu is great for beginners and experts...

We are having an installfest on sunday in Hull at a 
community center called Depanneur Sylvestre.Our event will 
probably be more francophone because of the neighborhood but 
I'll do installs in english too so if you know of anyone who 
may be interested send them over!!! If anyone would like to 
stop by just to visit we would love to see you. I have no 
idea how many people to expect since we didn't have much 
lead time and it's our first such endeavour...

Any ideas on promoting our favorite OS would also be 
appreciated!
