Hi James I can thoroughly recommend the Brother HL-4070CDW. This is an excellent color laser, Linux friendly and I have seen it advertised for less than $200.00. Regrettably, like all these printers, the toner cartridges are expensive, but in the case of Brother, they are not so outlandishly priced as the others (I had to discard a Samsung CLP-500 simply because the cartridges would have cost me around $700.00 and that after shopping around where the original printer only cost me $300.00!!!)
