RE: Sympatico update

Bell always advertises that I can get up to 7 Mbps, although all other
providers will not advertise above 5mbps. Is this an advantage that only
Bell has the technology to offer, or is this a scam ? Whatever the
answer, this means that Bell is ripping you off. If they have a special
technology that only THEY can use on their lines that they share, this
is unfair to other ISPs, and if this is a scam, this is also VERY
unfair. 

Whatever, I do not go with their service, simply because it is $10 more
per month, as well as their modem, which I can only rent, not purchase.
And for the speed I get with 3Web/CIA, I'm happy.

Hi,

Just wondering - How do you get 7mbps? I was under the impression that
everyone who wholesales from Bell is limited to 5mbps...

I had a quick look on their site and only saw 5 listed for
residential...
