Speakers for meetings for February and beyond

For our January meeting, Jeff Green will be telling us about
Group51.org but we still need topics and speakers for subsequent meetings.

I'll be unable to attend the OCLUG meeting on January 7 so send email
or speak to other board members if you have suggestions or can give
presentations.

Matthew Bastian has offered to tell us about Real Time RTAI Linux for
20 - 30 minutes for the Feb 4 meeting.

Based on that idea, do you think it would it be reasonable to have a
meeting where real time and/or embedded Linux would be the theme?

We could have a short intro about "real time" contstraints and why
modifications to Linux are required.
We could also have an intro about embedded Linux where memory might be
measured in megabytes or less rather than gigabytes and some
information about cross compilers; why they are needed and how they
are used.

An example of how someone used Linux for a real time or embedded
application might be interesting.

If you have any ideas or opinions on this topic, and especially if you
or someone you know can give a presentation on it, please reply to
this list, the board or me or talk to someone during the January meeting.

If this idea doesn't work out, we still need speakers for the February
and March meetings.
