I've been using Ubuntu in dual-boot capacity for laptops, and on a
Windose workstation I brought back from the dead for a friend.

I've had no complaint about Ubuntu updates. I don't think I should blame
Ubuntu for the updated Firefox ceasing to work with LogMeIn but it works
so far with Seamonkey (which I haven't "updated" in case it too stopped
working with LogMeIn).

Drifting closer to an All-Linux environment;
